Learning and capacity-building of the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) is a core statutory function of the Agency. IARC’s Learning and capacity-building activities have made a substantial contribution to the development of human resources for cancer research in many countries, through the hosting of Early Career Scientists who wish to pursue a career in cancer research and, by delivering training programmes and developing freely accessible learning materials.
