{"id":56618,"date":"2024-09-25T09:10:09","date_gmt":"2024-09-25T09:10:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/iarc.spherical.horse\/news-events\/canscreen5-train-the-trainers-for-francophone-african-countries-participants-meet-in-rabat-morocco\/"},"modified":"2024-09-25T09:13:44","modified_gmt":"2024-09-25T09:13:44","slug":"canscreen5-train-the-trainers-for-francophone-african-countries-participants-meet-in-rabat-morocco","status":"publish","type":"news-events","link":"https:\/\/iarc.spherical.horse\/fr\/news-events\/canscreen5-train-the-trainers-for-francophone-african-countries-participants-meet-in-rabat-morocco\/","title":{"rendered":"CanScreen5 Train the Trainers for francophone African countries \u2013 participants meet in Rabat, Morocco"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) Cancer Screening in Five Continents (CanScreen5) Train the Trainers learning programme for cancer screening programme managers from francophone African countries started online, in April 2024, and is now continuing with an in-person workshop, being held on 23\u201326 September 2024 in Rabat, Morocco.<\/p>\r\n<p>With support from the World Health Organization (WHO) Regional Office for Africa, the four-day programme is being hosted in Rabat at the invitation of the Ministry of Health of Morocco and the Fondation Lalla Salma \u2013 Pr\u00e9vention et traitement des cancers.<\/p>\r\n<p>The event, which brings together 22 cancer screening managers and health professionals from 17 francophone African countries, is the first of three face-to-face workshops being held in 2024.
